I’m interested to find out what age you all went location independent? I just turned 21 and feel like I might be a bit too young to jet set the world alone. Can anyone give me motivation and confidence in my dreams? I’m currently close to location independent and only need to visit the office sometimes, but I’m looking to take the final step!

I did at 25, just under a year ago with my boyfriend (27).

It’s so cool you got to do it with your boyfriend! 25 is young too 🙂 Many happy years ahead, with freedom 🙂

I did at 26. Just after graduating with my Master’s. I did one in languages so it wasn’t too hard to start teaching languages remotely.

The best thing you can do is decouple your work ethic, dreams and expectations from your age. Age has nothing to do with it. The best people I know are doing exactly what they want, t whatever age. 50 or 19 it doesn’t matter.

I know a couple who’s kid started nomading at 20, they got inspired, and now they manage their law firm remotely while travelling the globe.

All you need is the right mindset 🙂

That story of a couple drawing inspiration from their son and doing it in their twilight years, and their son being able to do it at 20 was beautiful. Thanks for sharing it 🙂

You’re absolutely right. If I believe in myself I can do it, age means nothing.
