  Here’s a neat trick to find the posts of the most prolific content marketers in your niche, so you can analyse their posts and try to reverse engineer their success/

  seo intext:”author name” inurl:author

  SEO is the keyword in this footprint. Swap out “author name” with the author you’re researching, and google will only produce results with the word author in the URL.

  From this you’ll be able to see the sites they are guest posting too.

  Here’s some results I was able to get:

  Neil Patel: 6 490 results

  Seth Godin: 9 480 results

  Gary Vaynerchuk: 3 260 results

  I wouldn’t go after the biggest sites they are getting first. It’s harder to get published on Forbes than a smaller site. Instead, start with the smaller niche sites and build a name for yourself. From there, you’ll then be able to after the bigger fish.
