    Hi Priyanka,

Certainly, home cooking is a great way to save money and explore a new cuisine. Here are two basic Japanese recipes you can try:

    Miso Soup Ingredients:

    • 3 cups of dashi (you can use dashi granules to make this)
    • 3 tablespoons of miso paste
    • 1 block of silken tofu
    • 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
    • 1/4 cup of dried wakame (seaweed)

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the dashi according to the package’s instructions.
    2. In a separate bowl, soak the wakame in warm water until it expands.
    3. Cut the tofu into cubes.

    7. Serve hot with a sprinkle of chopped green onions on top.

    Chicken Teriyaki Ingredients:

    • 2 boneless chicken breasts
    • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup of mirin
    • 2 tablespoons of sugar
    • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved.
    2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken until browned on both sides.
    3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens. If you wan
